Netflix Releases Official Trailer for ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ Reboot

If you were a kid of the ’80s, there was one source of nightmares you could rely on week after week, and that was “Unsolved Mysteries.” Last year, Netflix announced it was rebooting the classic series and today they released the show’s first official trailer.


The following six mysteries will premiere on the streaming service on July 1:

  • Mystery on the Rooftop
  • 13 Minutes
  • House of Terror
  • No Ride Home
  • Berkshires UFO
  • Missing Witness

A total of 12 episodes were ordered for the revival series. A date has not been revealed yet for when the second set of episodes will be released.

The original “Unsolved Mysteries” premiered in January of 1987 and ran for 11 seasons. The show would go on to air 260 episodes chronicling over 1,000 stories with segments on murder, missing persons, wanted fugitives, UFOs, ghosts, paranormal, missing heirs, amnesia, and fraud, among others. According to the “Unsolved Mysteries” website, the show has helped solve more than half of the cases featuring wanted fugitives and reunited over 100 separated families.
