Following its mysterious debut at The Game Awards 2025, GPTRACK50 Inc. has finally pulled back the curtain on its debut title. During Thursday’s Future Game Show: Spring Showcase 2026, the studio unleashed the first gameplay trailer for “Stupid Never Dies,” a 3D action RPG that looks as bizarre as its title suggests.
Developed by a team of veterans behind iconic franchises like “Devil May Cry,” “Dragon’s Dogma,” and “Resident Evil,” the game promises a high-octane experience wrapped in a highly distinctive art style. The new footage highlights the game’s core mechanics—specifically, its attack-focused combat system the team calls “Funky Zombie Action.”
“Stupid Never Dies” puts players in control of Davy, a timid zombie at the very bottom of the food chain in a monster-ruled dungeon. Far from a typical brooding protagonist, Davy’s quest is driven by heart: he’s fighting to resurrect Julia, a frozen human girl. To succeed, players must master an aggressive combat system that involves stealing enemy abilities and customizing Davy’s undead corpse with increasingly strange upgrades, all while receiving support from Dr. Frank, who makes his debut in the new trailer.
“Stupid Never Dies” is slated for release later this year on PC via Steam and the PlayStation 5.
