The highly anticipated magical open-world adventure Witchspire has officially launched into Early Access on Steam. Developed by Envar Games, the title amassed over 300,000 player wishlists since its announcement last summer and is finally ready to welcome new witches into its coven.
In Witchspire, players embark on a grand journey across a hand-crafted open world teeming with magic, wonder, and danger. The core objective tasks players and their coven of friends with pushing back a dark corruption that threatens to consume the realm. To do so, players can create their own custom spellcasting characters, choose a magical faction, and battle alongside others in full co-operative multiplayer.
In Early Access, you’ll venture across two distinct biomes, on foot or on a broomstick, encountering all kinds of creatures. Raise wands, wield spellblades, and utilize powerful tomes to cast spells for combat or survival. Befriend and level up familiars of various rarities that will accompany you across your whole journey, assisting with crafting, resource gathering, and even combat.
Every aspect of the game is injected with a magical flair. Resource gathering goes beyond simple hacking and hewing; players can call down ore-filled comets from the sky or use empowered tools to clear entire forests in an instant. Collected materials can then be used to build a custom base. Then, players can use “Astral Projection” to seamlessly maneuver and design the witchy hangout of their dreams.
