Indie developer Hologram Monster has announced that its chaotic occult simulator, “Ritual Party,” will hit Steam Early Access on February 17, 2026.
“Ritual Party” is a darkly comedic horror experience for one to four players. The premise is simple but high-stakes: work together to perform increasingly unstable occult rituals to summon Cthulhu and other elder gods. Players must master the delicate art of drawing ritual circles and lighting candles, all while sacrificing questionable offerings to the void.
The real challenge isn’t just the magic—it’s the interruptions. You’ll need to maintain your composure while avoiding detection from nosy neighbors, local law enforcement, and any supernatural complications that arise.
Every level in “Ritual Party” introduces new mechanics and hazards designed to test your group’s communication. By launching in Early Access, Hologram Monster aims to let the community help shape the system-driven mayhem.
Initial feedback will directly influence the development of new environments, more bizarre ritual variations, and refined game balance. The developers hope that by involving players early, they can expand the game’s scope while ensuring the pacing feels as frantic and rewarding as possible.
“Ritual Party” launches in Early Access on February 17 and is available to Wishlist now on Steam.
