Playstations ‘MediEvil’ Remaster Finally Gets a Release Date and New Trailer

In late 2017, PlayStation announced at PSX that the classic PlayStation game “MediEvil” would be remastered in 4K and released for the PS4 in time for the games 20th anniversary in 2018. That anniversary came and went, but a new trailer release from PlayStation this week revealed that the game is still happening and is due out in time for this Halloween!

The beloved fan-favorite has been completely remade from the grave up, blending classic gameplay with stunning new visuals, all in eye-popping 4K!

In “MediEvil,” you take on the role of Sir Daniel Fortesque, a slightly-inept (and long dead) knight accidentally resurrected by his greatest enemy, the evil sorcerer Zarok. With a second chance to foil his greatest foe, you set out to save the kingdom of Gallowmere and earn your place as a true hero, though, a dead one.

The game is scheduled to be released on October 25, 2019.
