The open Beta will be available on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, and PC via Steam, with the only requirement being that you have one of these platforms and a CAPCOM ID. If you were lucky enough to be a part of the “Resident Evil Re:Verse” closed Beta, you will not need to re-download the game to play in the open beta.

The upcoming open Beta tests will allow Capcom to test the game’s system, balance, and servers.

“Resident Evil Re:Verse” is an online multiplayer title celebrating 25 years of the Resident Evil franchise. The game will be free to those who purchase “Resident Evil Village.” In “Resident Evil Re:Verse,” you can play as several characters from the Resident Evil series as you battle against other players in a four to six-person survival horror revenge match. At the end of each 5-minute Deathmatch, the player with the most points wins. But death isn’t the end in this new online multiplayer experience. When your character is taken out, their body transforms into a powerful bioweapon, which you can use against other players allowing you to rack up even more points.
