Scream Factory Unearths Original Film Elements for George A. Romero’s ‘Day of the Dead’

Scream Factory is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the release of George A. Romeroโ€™s horror classic “Day of the Dead” with some exciting news. After years of arduous searching, and 12 years since the studioโ€™s Blu-ray release, Scream Factory and Shout Studios, a Radial Entertainment company, have announced that original film elements for “Day of the Dead” have been found!

This long-awaited discovery marks an exciting new chapter in the filmโ€™s legacy, just in time for its milestone 40th Anniversary on July 19. Details on a brand-new Scream Factory 4K UHD restoration will be announced soon.
