Tom DeLonge Paranormal Series ‘Strange Times’ In Development as an Adult Animated Comedy at TBS

Strange Times Still

According to Deadline TBS has put into development a new adult animated series based on the graphic novel and book series “Strange Times” from former blink-182 guitarist Tom Delonge.

“Strange Times” is about five teenage skateboarders who solve paranormal mysteries while trying to outrun Deep State government agents. “My love for all things paranormal and skateboarding are sometimes only superseded by my love for offensive humor,” says DeLonge. “This series combines them all into one.”

The series will be written and executive produced by Aaron Karo. DeLonge, The Cartel’s Stan Spry and Jeff Holland and Strike Entertainment’s Russell Binder will serve as executive producers.

“Strange Times” began as an interactive website where people shared their weird, paranormal stories, which helped inspire the story behind the graphic novel and then ultimately the novel “Strange Times: The Ghost in the Girl,” the first in a planned trilogy of Young Adult science fiction novels co-penned by DeLonge and award-winning author Geoff Herbach.
