Body-positive, vintage-inspired clothing brand, Unique Vintage, has announced a new limited-edition collection in collaboration with Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. The new collection features dresses, skirts, tops, and more, all inspired by the Mistress of the Dark, her films, and her comic books.
Elvira x Unique Vintage Black Dagger Velvet Maxi Dress – $110
Available in sizes XS through 5X, this velvet dress with a surplice neckline takes inspiration from Elvira’s signature look. The dress is accented with custom embroidery of a dagger, all framed by the long angel sleeves.
Elvira x Unique Vintage Leopard Print Elvira Signature Velvet Pencil Dress – $98
This leopard print variation of Unique Vintage’s 1960s criss-cross halter wiggle dress was created in collaboration with Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, and harkens back to the headscarf worn by Elvira in “Elvira, Mistress of the Dark” and the interior of her Macabre Mobile. The dress is available in sizes XS through 4X.
Elvira x Unique Vintage Elvira Comic Print Hedda Swing Dress – $128
Cast in a lightweight black fabric, this swing dress features a multicolor comic print of Elvira throughout, featuring many of the covers from her latest comic book releases from Dynamite, including “The Death of Elvira,” “Elvira In Monsterland,” and more. The dress is available in sizes XS through 5X. For the guys, you can also get this print as a lightweight cotton button-up.
Elvira x Unique Vintage Gonk Cardigan and Gonk Soda Shop Swing Skirt – $98 each
As a tribute to Elvira’s punk rock pup seen in the film “Elvira, Mistress of the Dark,” Unique Vintage is releasing two coordinating pieces with the Elvira x Unique Vintage Gonk Cardigan and the Elvira x Unique Vintage Poodle Gonk Soda Shop Swing Skirt.
The cardigan features three-quarter-length sleeves and is crafted in a black sweater knit fabric, accented with a hot pink button placket and neckline, and boasting embroidery of Elvira’s dog, Gonk.
The Soda Shop Skirt coordinates perfectly with the cardigan and is made with a soft felt-like black fabric, complete with a felt Gonk the poodle.
Both pieces are available in sizes XS through 5X and are currently available for pre-order, with an expected arrival date of August 15.
