Wired Productions and LKA Unveil Third Collaboration with Psychological Thriller ‘When Sirens Fall Silent’

“When Sirens Fall Silent,” a dark, investigative psychological thriller set in the suburbs of Rome in the early 1990s, has been unveiled as the third collaboration between psychological horror specialists Wired Productions and developer LKA.

In “When Sirens Fall Silent,” players take on the role of a determined policewoman named Mila, who’s haunted by a past she desperately seeks to escape. When she is thrust into a high-profile case of kidnappings and murders, players must navigate the unraveling investigation, striving not only to save her from herself but also from being swallowed up by a vortex of violence, mystery, and confusion.

LKA continues its tradition of perfectly recreating real Italian locations, grounding a haunting and uncomfortable narrative that promises to explore complex topics head-on. The studio excels at storytelling that pushes the boundaries of art, and this latest project will be no exception.

“When Sirens Fall Silent” is the next installment in the Storie Senza Voce (Stories Without a Voice) series, featuring deep links and crossovers with LKA’s previous titles, “The Town of Light” and “Martha Is Dead.” This project further strengthens the credentials of writer and creative director Luca Dalcò as a master of shining a light on forgotten people and hidden histories.

Pushing Unreal Engine 5 to its limits, the game stretches technological boundaries and redefines expectations for what a focused team of ten can achieve.

“When Sirens Fall Silent” also introduces a significant transformation in LKA’s gameplay: a branching, multi-layered narrative dialogue system. This system emphasizes verbal and emotional interaction, investigation, and player choices, elevating the experience beyond that of the studio’s earlier games.

“When Sirens Fall Silent” is available to wishlist now on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Game Store.
