Writer’s Block Leads to a Bloodbath in ‘I Know Exactly How You Die,’ Arriving on VOD in April

MPX has announced the official U.S. digital release of Rusabh Patel’s indie horror, “I Know Exactly How You Die.” Starting April 7, 2026, audiences will be able to rent or own the film on Digital HD, including Prime Video and Fandango at Home, with a DVD release arriving the same day.

The film stars Patel as Rian Burman, a struggling horror novelist who retreats to a remote motel to conquer his creative paralysis. While crafting a story about a woman named Katie (a drug counselor fleeing a violent stalker), Rian discovers a terrifying reality: his manuscript is manifesting in the real world.

When he encounters the real Katie at the motel, the two must face a deranged ex-mailman turned serial killer who seems to be following Rian’s exact script. As the body count rises, Rian is forced to reckon with the possibility that he is the architect of the surrounding carnage.

“I Know How You Die” world premiered to a sold-out audience at Dances With Films NYC in January and has generated buzz for its meta-narrative and psychological tension.
