IT: FLOAT the Cinematic VR Experience Now Available to Everyone

At this year’s San Diego Comic Con, Warner Bros debuted IT: FLOAT, a VR experience inspired by their upcoming release of Stephen King’s IT.  The experience got some extra mileage at this year’s ScareLA, but now Warner Bros has released the experience on YouTube for all to enjoy.  While you won’t get the full experience of boarding a Derry High School bus and waiting inside a sewer pipe before sitting down for the VR experience, it’s still worth checking out.

The IT: FLOAT VR experience can be viewed on your desktop computer below and you can use your mouse to adjust your viewing perspective (though it definitely isn’t the same), or you can likely view it on your VR headset of choice.  I tested it with both Google Cardboard and Daydream View and had a similar experience to the one I had at ScareLA (sans the vibrating chair and headphones).

If you didn’t get the opportunity to experience FLOAT in person, this is the next best option and is sure to give you a bit of an IT fix before the film’s release next month.
