Indie publisher and developer Firenut Games is looking to ramp up the terror for its upcoming first-person psychological horror game, “Baptiste.” Announced earlier this year, the game—which centers on a mother and son who move into a new home and discover an unsettling doll locked behind glass—is fully funded. However, on October 2, a Kickstarter was launched to try and garner additional funding for things like additional languages, game modes, and a more polished overall experience.As of this writing, the campaign has reached roughly 40% of its $5,822 goal with 22 days left. Firenut Games stresses that the game will be released regardless of the campaign’s success, but the Kickstarter is the only way to secure some exclusive digital and physical rewards.“Baptiste” is slated for a launch in early 2026 on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and Nintendo Switch 2.
