Hemlock Circle Productions has officially greenlit a sequel to its 2025 horror-sci-fi feature, “Marshmallow.” Director Daniel DelPurgatorio and writer Andy Greskoviak are set to return, alongside core cast members Kue Lawrence, Kai Cech, Dylan Friedman, and Max Malas.The original film followed 12-year-old Morgan (Lawrence) at a secluded summer camp where a campfire legend manifested into a terrifying reality. While the first installment focused on the immediate survival of the young group, the sequel shifts its lens to the long-term trauma of the encounter.Set several years after the events of the first film, the story will explore the lingering damage left behind—both in the world and within the survivors.
