The first trailer for “Corporate Retreat,” a genre-bending horror-dark comedy from filmmaker Aaron Fisher, debuted on Wednesday. Fisher, best known for his award-winning feature “Inside the Rain,” directed the project from a screenplay he co-wrote with Kerri Lee Romeo.
The film follows a group of ambitious young executives whose luxury team-building retreat devolves into a violent struggle for survival. The narrative aims to subvert traditional survival-horror tropes by blending visceral thrills with satirical commentary on corporate culture.
The film features an ensemble cast led by Alan Ruck (“Succession”), Odeya Rush (“Lady Bird”), Ashton Sanders (“Moonlight”), Rosanna Arquette (“Pulp Fiction”), Sasha Lane (“American Honey”), Zión Moreno (“Control Z”), Tyler Alvarez (“American Vandal”), and Benjamin Norris (“Never Have I Ever”).
“Corporate Retreat” is slated for a theatrical release later this year.
