Adult Swim Sets September Premiere for Surreal Sketch Series ‘The Terrors of Jordan Mendoza’

Adult Swim is bringing nightmares to life this fall with “The Terrors of Jordan Mendoza,” a new live-action comedy series premiering Sunday, Sept. 13, at midnight ET/PT.

Created by, directed by, and starring comedian Jordan Mendoza, the quarter-hour series follows a perpetually terrified man as he navigates a barrage of absurd, horrifying dreamscapes. The show blends sharp comedy with surreal horror to dive into subconscious fears that are equal parts deeply personal and universal.

The freshman series features an all-star guest lineup including Thomas Lennon, Marc Maron, Fred Melamed, Haley Joel Osment, Randall Park, Wanda Sykes, Eva Victor, and Steve Buscemi.

“There’s nothing more exciting than finding a creator with a voice that feels completely their own, and Jordan is exactly that,” said Cameron Tang, SVP, Head of Development and Current Series for Adult Swim. “He’s funny, brutally honest, and impossible to mistake for anyone else. This show lets him fully do his thing, alongside an incredible collection of performers eager to step into his unique and unsettling world.”

Mendoza’s recent writing and acting credits include “Dave,” “Chad Powers,” “Overcompensating,” “Big Mouth,” and “Ziwe.”

Produced for Adult Swim by Avalon (“Last Week Tonight with John Oliver”), the series is executive produced by Mendoza, Aaron Brown, David Martin, and Jonathan Stern, with original music by Christopher Bear.
