‘AHS: 13’ Trailer Brings Back Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, and Coven Witches

The witches are back, and FX is turning up the chaos with the first official trailer for “American Horror Story: 13.”

Premiering Sept. 24 on FX and Hulu, the 13th installment of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology series features a massive reunion of fan favorites, including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters reprising iconic roles from past seasons.

“Thirteen stands for instability—chaos,” John Waters warns as Mr. Phibes in the new footage, setting the tone for a season built on overlapping storylines and returning characters. While the core plot remains under wraps, the trailer confirms unprecedented character crossovers: Lange will reportedly reprise four past “AHS” roles, Peters will tackle five, and Paulson is set to play six different characters.

The cast also includes Angela Bassett as Marie Laveau, Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery, and Jamie Brewer as Adelaide Langdon. Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Joey Pollari, Paul Anthony Kelly, and Mena Suvari round out the ensemble.

With past storylines collapsing into a single chaotic timeline, “AHS: 13” is shaping up to be Ryan Murphy’s most ambitious franchise crossover yet, with FX calling it “…an unrivaled 13th installment that will do justice to everyone’s most feared number.”
