Mezco Toyz has opened up pre-orders for the latest in their line of Burst-A-Box toys; A Nightmare On Elm Street: Freddy Krueger.
For those unfamiliar with the line, Burst-A-Box is a pop culture twist on the classic jack-in-the-box toy. Past horror icons in the series include Sam from Trick ‘r Treat, Jason Voorhees, and Chucky
The fully functioning jack-in-the-box is approximately 14” tall when “popped”. The Freddy Krueger Burst-A-Box features a detailed head sculpt designed after Freddy’s appearance in A Nightmare On Elm Street, and a clothed spring body, all encased in a tin music box. Freddy also comes with a removable fedora that can be worn when he is popped out of his tin.
Burst-A-Box Freddy can be pre-ordered for $50 on the Mezco Toyz website and is expected to start shipping in October of 2019.
