Hulu’s ‘Hellraiser’ Trailer Shares a First Glimpse at the All-New Cenobites

On Tuesday, Hulu unleashed the official trailer for its upcoming reimagining of “Hellraiser.”

The new film is a fresh take on Clive Barker’s classic “Hellraiser” from director David Bruckner. It follows a young woman struggling with addiction who comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that its purpose is to summon the Cenobites, a group of sadistic supernatural beings from another dimension, who capture and torture anyone who solves the puzzle.

The film stars Jamie Clayton (“The L Word: Generation Q”) as the iconic Pinhead, along with an ensemble cast that includes Odessa A’zion (“Fam”), Adam Faison (“Everything’s Gonna Be Okay”), Drew Starkey (“Outer Banks”), Brandon Flynn (“Ratched”), Aoife Hinds (“The Long Call”), Jason Liles (“Stereoscope”), Yinka Olorunnife (“The Transporter”), Selina Lo (“Boss Level”), Zachary Hing (“Halo”), Kit Clarke (“Leonardo”), with Goran Visnjic (“The Boys”) and Hiam Abbass (“Succession”).

The film reunites Bruckner with the team from 2020’s “The Night House,” including screenwriters Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, writer/producer David S. Goyer, and producer Keith Levine. Clive Barker and Marc Toberoff also produce with executive producers Gary Barber, Peter Oillataguerre, and Todd Williams. Chris Stone serves as co-producer.

“Hellraiser” arrives on Hulu on October 7, 2022.
