Earlier this year, we got our first look at the 2024 Lemax Spooky Town collection, but since then, Lemax has quietly added this year’s lineup of Michaels exclusives to its website, giving us our first look at the pieces that will arrive in Michaels stores this summer.
For 2024, Michaels will get 11 new pieces, ranging from figurines to Sights and Sounds pieces. Check out this year’s Spooky Town Michaels exclusives below:
Los Muertos Romance
Creepy Doll & Dog
Trick or Treaters Parade
This tabletop accent includes lights and motion and features trick-or-treaters parading around a Halloween tree.
Cursed Campfire
This light-up table accent features a headless horseman with a jack-o-lantern under his arm standing by a lit campfire with the Grim Reaper and a skeleton knight.
Nothing Like a Hot Bath
This light-up table accent features a skeleton taking a “relaxing hot tub cauldron bath.” The cauldron’s fire and green bath foam light up.
The Living End
Where do Spooky Town residents go for all their exotic plant needs? The Living End nursery and garden. This lighted building looks like an old home overrun by carnivorous plants.
Madness Manor
Madness Manor is a lighted building with a custom soundtrack that tells the story of the seemingly sweet little girl who lures innocent souls into the home.
Fright Night Cinema
Fright Night Cinema is where all the Spooky Town boils and ghouls go to catch a midnight movie. This lighted building features a terrifying ticket sales-ghoul, vampire and werewolf patrons. It is plastered with movie posters for all the coming attractions, including “Teenage Piranha,” “Citizen Slain,” “Dances With Werewolves,” and “It’s a Wonderful Knife.”
Creepy Pumpkin Patch
This light-up facade of the Creepy Pumpkin Patch includes the entrances to the Wicked Cider Mill, The Haunted Barn, and, of course, the pumpkin patch.
Smoke & Mirrors Magic Shop
This impressive Sights and Sounds piece uses some classic special effects that fans of Disney’s Haunted Mansion will be familiar with. Lemax uses the pepper’s ghost effect to make two ghostly figures appear and disappear from the Smoke & Mirrors Magic Shop front window. Next to the window is an inverted image of a magician who seems to be watching you as you pass by the shop. Other features include the spinning hypnotic wheels flanking the shop’s entrance, a huge fanged rabbit that pops up from the top hat atop the building, and a handful of doves that circle the top of the building.
Cursed Ruins
Cursed Ruins is a Sights and Sounds piece featuring a castle atop a giant skull that houses the castle mote. The ruins are guarded by a skeleton guard. Water-fueled “smoke” effects add to the ambiance of this frightful new piece.
