The iconic My Pet Monster returns in a reimagined 14-inch deluxe plush featuring authentic detailing, premium materials, and—yes—the legendary orange breakaway chains that made him a breakout star of the 1980s.
The My Pet Monster 14-inch plus comes packaged in a platform box inspired by the original packaging, with retro-style branding. My Pet Monster was available for pre-order from The Loyal Subjects for $50 and is expected to ship in late September. As of the morning of June 26, the figure was sold out.
The first My Pet Monster plush was produced by American Greetings in 1986. The success of the plush lead to a direct-to-video live-action film and then an animated series. My Pet Monster remains a beloved piece of 1980s nostalgia, remembered for its distinctive look and playful monster appeal.
