Following the massive turnout for Netflix’s “Stranger Things” series finale theatrical event this past New Year’s, the streaming giant is headed back to the big screen. Netflix has officially announced a limited theatrical run for “Stranger Things: Tales From ’85,” giving fans an early look at the highly anticipated animated expansion of the Hawkins universe.
Before the series makes its global debut on Netflix on April 23, 2026, fans can catch the first two episodes in select cinemas. Produced by the Duffer Brothers and helmed by showrunner Eric Robles, the animated format promises to explore lost adventures involving new monsters that haven’t yet graced our screens.
Select screenings will take place on Saturday, April 18, at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. local time in 34 theaters across the US. You can also catch showings at the Paris Theater in New York and Netflix House Philadelphia. Attendees will also receive an exclusive collectible while supplies last.
Tickets for the screenings will go on sale on Wednesday, March 18, at 8 a.m. PT. For a list of theaters or to purchase tickets, visit AMCTheatres.com.
