Raw Fury’s Haunting Whodunit ‘The Séance of Blake Manor’ Arrives on PC

Swedish indie publisher Raw Fury and Irish developer Spooky Doorway have launched their first-person supernatural detective game, “The Séance of Blake Manor,” for PC.

Set in late 19th-century Ireland, The Séance of Blake Manor places players in the gumshoes of Private Investigator Declan Ward. Your mission is to locate the vanished Evelyn Deane at the eponymous Blake Manor. To uncover the truth, you must interview and interrogate an eclectic group of suspects, learning about their motivations and unearthing hidden clues in their appearances. Recording details, making connections, and cross-referencing evidence will be key to solving the mystery of Evelyn Deane’s whereabouts. The game delves into complex themes —religion, class divisions, and the supernatural —drawing heavily on the Victorian era and the ancient mythology of the Celts.

Visually, the game utilizes a distinctive comic book-style art inspired by the artwork of Mike Mignola (“Hellboy”), Edward Risso (“1000 Bullets”), and Tim Sale (“Batman: The Long Halloween”). Every frame looks hand-drawn, and when examining items or clues, the action is presented through comic panels, seamlessly integrating the art style into the gameplay.

The game also features a dynamic soundtrack of period-appropriate music. This score adapts to the location, gameplay, and situation as the story progresses. The music complements the branching dialogues and impactful character choices that will ultimately change how players solve the mysteries of Blake Manor.

Players can get into the spooky spirit and embark on a thrilling journey to search for Evelyn Deane at the mysterious Blake Manor today. The game is available now on Steam for $19.99.
