UPDATE: Due to newly announced County restrictions, Reign of Terror 2020 is unable to open and is canceled for September and October 2020.

Reign of Terror has announced their 2020 fall schedule, and while it’s not the same experience you’re used to, the Southern California haunt is still looking to provide guests with some Halloween fun.

For 2020, Reign of Terror is changing things up in order to make their haunt COVID safe, and in doing so they are offering a props and apparel experience. This year, guests will explore the 120 custom, award-winning horror-themed rooms with their own private party sans the scare actors. This is a unique opportunity to really explore the exquisite details, gruesome figures, animated props, scenery, and special effects of this amazing haunt.

This year’s haunt will feature a new layout with a new flow and new sequencing. The haunt will also feature more life-like creatures and characters than before (despite no live actors being present) as well as new special effects, lighting, and sound. But don’t worry, you’ll still be able to experience fan favorites like “The White-Out Experience,” “Slime Bog,” and “Vortex Tunnel.”

You’ll end your walkthrough at the Reign of Terror merchandise area where you’ll be able to purchase this year’s Reign of Terror apparel and accessories, as well as props.

This year’s event will be running at extremely limited capacity with timed admission. Reservations are available exclusively online and in 30-minute blocks from 6 PM – 9:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays starting on September 25, 2020, and ending on Halloween night. Regular scheduled admission is just $25. Immediate Access admission is $50 and allows admission as the next available group during your 30 minute reservation time slot. Tickets are available now, here.

Reign of Terror is located at Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks, CA. This year the event will be held in a larger facility directly across from the parking structure at 225 N. Moorpark Road.
