Warner Bros. has shared a first look at the prehistoric suburban nightmare of “The End of Oak Street,” the latest high-concept thriller from “It Follows” filmmaker David Robert Mitchell.
The film stars Anne Hathaway (“Les Misérables”) and Ewan McGregor (“Doctor Sleep”) as the heads of the Platt family, whose quiet life is shattered by a mysterious cosmic event. Their entire suburban neighborhood is ripped from reality and transported to someplace unknown, and seemingly home to dinosaurs. To survive, the family must navigate a landscape that is as lethal as it is unrecognizable. Joining Hathaway and McGregor are Maisy Stella (“My Old Ass”) and Christian Convery (“Sweet Tooth”).
Maisy Stella (“My Old Ass”) and Christian Convery (“Sweet Tooth”) also star.
The film is produced by J.J. Abrams and Hannah Minghella for Bad Robot, alongside Jon Cohen, Matt Jackson, Tommy Harper, and Mitchell himself.
“The End of Oak Street” is slated to hit theaters and IMAX on August 14, 2026.
