Publisher Selecta Play has teamed up with FYRE Games to bring solo developer Conner Rush’s most ambitious project to date to the physical realm.Following a highly successful digital debut, Project Songbird has captivated horror fans and critics alike with its surreal atmosphere and cinematic approach to storytelling. This new partnership will finally allow collectors and horror enthusiasts to add a boxed edition of this intensely personal tale of creative madness to their shelves.In Project Songbird, players step into the shoes of Dakota, a struggling musician who retreats to an isolated log cabin deep within the Appalachian forest to find a spark of creativity and record a new album. As Dakota scours the pristine, beautiful pines for inspiration, they soon discover a malicious presence lurking in the darkness—proving that not all inspiration is positive, and that some creative processes exact a deadly toll.While an exact street date has not yet been locked in, Selecta Play confirmed that the physical edition of Project Songbird for PlayStation 5 will launch globally later this year.
