Though early sightings have popped up on store shelves and social media in recent weeks, SunnyD officially announced the launch of “SpookyD”—a limited-edition mystery beverage for the Halloween season—on Wednesday. The seasonal release features festive, Halloween-inspired packaging, but its core selling point remains hidden: the exact flavor profile is a complete secret.“Halloween is all about embracing the unexpected, and SpookyD brings that spirit to life in a way only SunnyD can,” said Randi Jachino, Chief Marketing Officer, Harvest Hill Beverage Company. “We’ve created a beverage that’s more than just a seasonal offering—it’s an experience. Whether you’re hosting friends, celebrating with family, or simply getting into the Halloween spirit, SpookyD adds a little mystery and a lot of fun to the occasion.”Is it fruity, candy-inspired, or citrus with a sinister twist? Rather than revealing the flavor, the brand is challenging consumers to put their taste buds to the test. Fans can share their flavor theories on social media by tagging @sunnydofficial throughout the season.SpookyD is rolling out this month at Walmart stores nationwide while supplies last. It is available in 18-pack cases of 6.75-ounce bottles as well as single-gallon jugs.
