Co-Op Horror Comedy Grave Mistakes Launches on Steam Nov. 26

Running a family funeral home is hard work. It’s even harder when your grandmother craves a steady diet of fresh human remains.

Developer Happy Volcano and publisher Oro Interactive announced Wednesday that Grave Mistakes, a co-op horror comedy, will launch Nov. 26 on PC via Steam.

In Grave Mistakes, up to four players step into the shoes of mortuary workers attempting to keep a family business afloat. Standard duties include accepting funeral bookings, prepping incoming corpses, and delivering moving eulogies. The main challenge, however, comes from keeping Grandma fed—a matriarch whose appetite demands a constant supply of body parts.

To keep mourners from noticing missing limbs, players must replace harvested parts with makeshift substitutes. A shovel might double as an arm, while a basketball with a photo taped to it can stand in for a head. While guests arrive, players must deliver eulogies, play the organ, and cover up the gruesome evidence before decay sets in.

Successful runs net cash to upgrade the business all while balancing customer satisfaction against Grandma’s growing hunger.

Ahead of the Nov. 26 release, players who want in on the funeral home business early can request access to an upcoming Steam playtest.
