The sixth and latest installment in the “Evil Dead” franchise, “Evil Dead Burn,” is officially making its way to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
The “Evil Dead Burn” haunted house will take guests on a terrifying firsthand journey through the film’s most frightening moments, beginning at the Price family’s secluded vacation home in the woods. The nightmare grows more and more fierce as guests venture through the haunted house, encountering ferocious Deadites around every turn before succumbing to the evil forces themselves.
First introduced in 1981, “Evil Dead” has evolved from an independent cult classic into one of modern horror’s most enduring powerhouses. Blending extreme gore with dark humor, the franchise centers on the infamous Book of the Dead—an ancient text that unleashes supernatural parasitic demons who possess and mutilate their victims into Deadites.
As with previous house announcements this season, the news arrives alongside limited-release merchandise. The “Evil Dead Burn” collection features a themed T-shirt and hat, as well as an acrylic figure designed for the infernal carnival collectible display.
Guests can shop the collection in-park starting today, Tuesday, July 21, and online at 9:00 AM PST on July 22 via shopUniversal.com, with additional horror merch slated to drop later this year.
Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights kicks off August 28, 2026 at Universal Orlando Resort and September 3, 2026 at Universal Studios Hollywood, running on select nights through November 1.
