Midsummer Scream has slowly been announcing the panels that will be part of their 2019 event. If you haven’t been keeping track, they’ve so far announced a Haunted Mansion 50th Anniversary panel, a “Tales from the Crypt” 30th-anniversary panel, a “Curious Creations of Christine McConnell” panel, an immersive experiences panel, and a panel dedicated to California’s spookiest and strangest themed bars. Today the summer Halloween convention announced yet another panel, which will introduce attendees to five real-life, local witches.

The panel, which has been titled, “Real Witches of Southern California” will take place on Saturday, August 3 and will feature Angela Lovell, co-host of the “Where The Magick Happens” podcast, Screenwriter and Author Scarlett Amaris, Solitary Ecclectic Ceremonial Witch Kya Cooper, and Sal Santoro, co-owner of The Crooked Path Occult Apothecary. The panel will be hosted by Renée Watt, psychic reader and host of the “Witch Doctorate” podcast.

During the panel, these local witches will share the different ways they practice their beliefs. With a deep well of spell-crafting experience, all topics are on the table including ceremonial, sex, blood, and sigil magick.

Tickets for Midsummer Scream are on sale now at MidsummerScream.org. More news and information regarding Midsummer Scream 2019 will be announced in the weeks and months ahead.
